When they hack you Robert, they also put a filter on to either block emails or forward them so you o not see the,.
To fix this, click Options in the top right, then Mail Settings.
Then Filters and alerts and remove any filters there.
Send an email to yourself and it should then be received.
I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you.
