My husband, can't log on to s computer which is an Acer as

My husband Don, can't log on to his computer which is an Acer as well. He logged on earlier today but no longer can now. They ask him for a password ***** he had never had to had to use. So can you help him get logged on to his computer. His email is to logon is***@******.*** but sill can logon because he has no record of his password ***** has he ever had to use it before.
As I said, he logged on earlier and was able to go out to the internet.
So can you help him from here?
