Customer Question

I somehow have two email accounts with the same email address. How can I remove one of them without removing both of them? Thanks.

Hi there and welcome

To do this, In Thunderbird,

  1. click in the account you wish to delete
  2. look for "view settings for this account." double click. .outside the box on the left which contains a menu of topics is a "Account Actions. Double click
  3. you should now see a list of actions, double click on "remove account.'
  4. Click your answer to "Are you sure......." as Yes

Do this just for one of the accounts and it will remove only that one.

I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you. Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all. Just let me know please.

Else let me know the results please.
