can't get to my inbox. Thunderbird is stuck on my outbox and there no tab for my inbox.

When did the problem start?

Are you using POP or IMAP?

There are a couple of things we could do, the first would be to look at your Outbox, select all emails and Shift+Delete them, then reload Thunderbird.

If it's still not working, you could backup your emails directly from the AppData folder then either restore TB to an earlier version or run system restore like you suggested, once done, restore the lost emails.

It's a little difficult to give you instructions for the latter without risking you losing everything so try the first option then we can look into starting a remote support session if you'd prefer me to do it for you.
