Hi there,

Microsoft Windows will never cold call you, so any calls of that nature should always be ignored.

I can connect remotely to your computer and fix it for you.

Let me know if you would like this service?

old granny that is not so computer literate. Thanks for your patience..

Hi,

it is likely that some type of malicious software has been installed on it by the person claiming to be from Windows.

Some scans and other procedures will need to be done to remove the bad software.

I can do this for you remotely, or you could take it to a computer shop for repair if you prefer.

I did not let the "Windows" caller work on my computer, for the record, Do I understand that you will do the work and the charge will be $48. You have my permission. Will this take long?
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Yes I can see what the problem is and work on fixing it for you.

I would estimate it may take up to an hour, or possibly longer.
