Have Windows 10 and Outlook 2013 and would like to configure / synchronize Verizon email with it. Any thoughts as to how best to do this. Thanks

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Please close Outlook program for now

, then click on the website below:

, then there, select the option "Microsoft Outlook 2010" (that's okay, 2013 version is the same), then click on Continue

, then click on the option "Use an app to automatically setup your Verizon Online Email Account", then click on Continue

, then click on Download the mini-app to download and install / run it, and check.

If that does not work, please try setting up email manually using these settings:

  • Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.verizon.net
  • Incoming Server Port Numbers: 995
  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.verizon.net
  • Outgoing Server Port Numbers: 465
  • Username: Your Verizon email address
  • Password: Your Verizon email password (it is case-sensitive.)
  • Make sure "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" is checked.
    (During setup, click on the More settings / options when it shows, then click on the Advanced tab, and enter these ports settings and set security to SSL.)
