Hi, I am A. Stevens here to help with your question! Are you using the built in mail application on your Galaxy Tab? Also who is your email provider?
Does this attachment problem happen with all types of attachments? IE photos, PDF, etc.?
So are you able to open some attachments?
When you login to your AOL email on your desktop computer are you able to see the attachments?
Very strange. Can we try deleting the email account from your Tab and then adding it again to see if that resolves the problem with attachments?
1. From the home screen, press the Menubutton located below the screen.
2. Select Settings.
3. Choose Accounts & sync.
4. Select the account you wish to remove.
5. Tap the Remove account button at the bottom of the screen.
The email account and everything else it may sync with like Contacts or Calendar data will also be deleted.
