Here are the things that you can do to fix this problem:
A. Turn Off Self CC
If it is UNCHECKED, close the Mail app and then open it again, and test if the problem is fixed.
However, if this option is ALREADY unchecked and yet you are having this issue, please proceed to this second procedure.
B. Uncheck "Include related messages" option
