I am using Microsoft for MAC and have been using it for a year. I can't send emails. They are getting stuck in my Outbox even though I am connected. The mesage I get from Yahoo is "Syntax error in arguments." I am receiving emails, but can't send. I tried restarting the computer, but that didn't help. HELP!

Can you tell me which version of outlook on the mac you are using please?
I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and attempt to fix the problem for you.
Remote support can save a lot of time if you are not comfortable performing repairs yourself. Sometimes even with instructions you can make a mistake and make things worse.

As is often the case with me and this IMAC computer using Microsoft Outlook, the problem corrected itself. I am now able to send and receive once again through Outlook. Your service sounds efficient and I will sign up in the future should I have the same or similar frustrating problem.Diane
