Cannot Attach Files in Gmail

Resolved Question:

I can't attach a file using Gmail. When I click on Attach File, nothing happens. I have gone to a forum and tried to follow the instructions but with no luck. The file is a small Excel file and isn't too big.

Sometimes the browser can have an impact on the attachments in Google.
Try using a different browser. If that still does not work, change your Attachment settings by performing the following steps:

1. Click the Gear (settings) icon on the top right of Gmail then click Settings.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and change the Attachments to "Basic attachment features"
3. Click Save Changes

Now try to attach files
