Can you go to att website and access your emails?
On your Outlook 2007
click Tools->Account/Email settings
select your email address Under Email and select Change
please type out your incoming mail and outgoing mail SMTP servers
click More Settings
go to Outgoing Mail tab
is the first box checked?
Go to Advanced
what is your incoming mail and outgoing mail SMTP port numbers?
is the box "Use secure connection SSL" CHECKED?
same for outgoing?
Thanks. Please change your incoming mail port to 110 and uncheck the box using SSL.
still getting the same receiving error
can you please type the error message out?

remove the email account on Outlook and create a new account
using the same email address
let check one more thing
please go back to Email settings
under Logon Information, did you use the full email address?
and the box "Remember Password" checked?
click OK and you will be under Account Settings
or click Cancel
Under Email select your current email and select Remove
Then click New
select Internet Email account
enter your information and click Next.
It's having a problem connecting to server
please click Back
then check the box, Manually configure settings
then click Next
Do you want to use POP or IMAP type?

then make sure checked Remember password
then click More Settings

go to Outgoing server
check the first box
go to Advanced
are the incoming port 110 and outgoing 25 now?

then click Test Account Settings
the enter network password XXXXX keeps popping up and I keep hitting ok but it keeps popping up
Please enter your email password XXXXX check remember password. Then click OK
I have been doing that everytime
Please go to your att email via att website. Change your email password.
Then enter your new password XXXXX check Remember password XXXXX Click OK. See if it will come back. Thanks

login to incoming is completed sending test message is in progress
it can send message verify the email address in your account properties
click Finish when it is done.
You should see the emails downloading

change Outgoing mail SMPT port to 465

select None for secure connection
click OK and do another test
outlook can not connect to your outgoing email
Please change the outgoing port back to 465 and select SSL encryption.
click Finish. Do not test the account settings

Or you can go back to Email settings and enter your new password XXXXX the Password XXXXX again.
then click Finish.

please change port to 25 and NONE encryption.
click OK and click Finish.
Then try to send or reply
please change the port to 587 and TLS
click OK and click Finish
This is weird. We have tested all the server ports and still error
Please change outgoing port to 25 and NONE
go to Outgoing Server tab
instead of select Use same settings as my incoming
select the other option.
enter full email address for user name
and enter your new password
make sure remember password XXXXX is checked
then click OK and click Finish.
ok and error that says it can't send and to check email account properties
please go back to Outgoing server tab and select use the same settings as my incoming
change the outgoing port to 465 and SSL. Click OK and finish.
Test with that first before change it back to Use same settings as incoming mail server
so yes on the outgoing service tab or no?
No leave outgoing tab settings
only change the outgoing port
so 465 and SSL encryption
go back to Outgoing server tab and make sure it is using your full email address and password. Not use same settings as my incoming mail server.
click OK and Finish.

click F9 to see if you can get new emails
or click Send/Receive

yeah it's all working now...do you have any idea why this happen? it was working fine until about 2 weeks ago and nothing has changed

Sometimes the settings on the server side affect the mail clients like Outlook, Windows Live Mail and others
So we have to change the settings.
And sometimes we have to change the password.
