Hello and thank you for using Just Answer.

1- Click here http://www.facebook.com/recover.php

2- Find the "Enter your name and a friend's name" section and enter your Name and a Friend's name where prompted

3- Click Search

4- Enter the captcha in the same order you see them, then click "Submit"

5- If you see yourself there in a picture (or if that is a picture taken by you) click "This is My Account"

6- Then you will see alternative emails and probably a phone number. Select the tiny box before them, then click "Reset Password". The link to reset the password XXXXX be sent to your alternate email address and/or the phone number (if you have one)

7- If this is the email you no longer have access to please click "No longer have access to these?"

8- Follow the prompts to reset the password.

9- If no luck please try with the validation form clicking here http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=cannot_identify

If you need further help let me know.

Thank You

If you can access by the link try another web browser like firefox
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

It is happening because your web browser remembers your facebook log in.

Please reply on this question. If you want to delete the account you will first need to reset the password XX you have access to the account. You need to prove ownership of this account before you can delete it. To permanently deleted with no option for recovery, log in to the account you want to delete and then make a request here: http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account

What is the problem you are running into when trying to reset the password? You will need to get into that account to delete it.

Customer replied 416 days and 12 hours ago.

I can not get into the account because I do not know the password. It stops me right there and does not allow me to open that Facebook account so I can delete it.
