Ok, I have a Panasonic cordless phone Modell #KX-TGE270.

Customer Question

ok, I have a Panasonic cordless phone Modell #KX-TGE270. everything works fine except on one handset the ringer has been turned off, how do I turn it back on?
JA: How old is the phone?
Customer: I bought it in May 2014.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: This just started a few weeks ago. Somehow I must have hit a button that turned off the ringer on that handset. I have looked in my manual and I can't find the answer there.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No, that's the only problem.

Hi and welcome to the site, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, on the "...one handset the ringer has been turned off..." is there a bell icon with a slash line through it on the display?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
there is a bell icon with a slash line through it AND BESIDE IT IS A "L"

Appreciate the additional information and yes, that icon would indicate that the "ringer" is OFF for that handset.

On that handset, press the + button repeatedly
