I have 220 receiver and 3 collars 2 30s, and a 40. They are showing full charge but as the hounds get 400 yards away they quit. Later I get a signal but it has to be close. I have bought new batteries and a new attena. I have change batteries in the receiver and have hooked up a power cord from a Verizon phone to my truck. Where do I start? I am about ready to toss everything.
JA: How old is the phone?
Customer: It is an old phone.
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I didn't use this cord before but the problem happened before I ever used the cord. A hunting friend said that he got more life from batteries by using the cord. I also heard that a business band radio
that I use could have affected them.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have tried to replace the antenna with a longer one. And have tried to make sure the collars were on and fully charged.
JA: Anything else you want the GPS expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have sent collars back to get replaced and they are not any better.
