I just installed a Kicker slimline in a 2010 Honda Accord

Customer Question

I just installed a Kicker slimline in a 2010 Honda Accord automatic. The speaker rumbles at 1500 to 2000 rpm, going both up and down, in all gears. The rumble occurs even when the audio is turned off. It stops when I disconnect the speaker. Why is this happening?

This can be caused by bad wiring.

The radio or speakers may not be grounded properly, or there is an exposed wire touching bare metal.

Check the speaker wiring and also check that the speakers and radio are grounded properly.
