Customer Question

I need to find the "+" on the keypad of my OJ 3830 in order to send a fax overseas. It isn't on the keypad.
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Office Jet 3830 (4 in all). 1 or 2 years ols I think
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Just occurred. Telephone # begins "+152"
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: NO

Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

That's a very obscure question. HP pages generally don't mention this sort of issue with dialing.

It seems that instead of +, you dial 011, which is an 'exit code', meaning international calling. You follow this with the country code, etc.

If you are trying to call an exotic locale, such as Azerbaijan or similarly trans-east-European locales, this may not work properly. Let me know the result you get, please, and I will advise further as needed.
