Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

Are there any signs of power getting to the device, such as indicator lights being On (or flashing) ?

Or is the device apparently 'dead', no lights etc. whatever?

- If the first, then the device's central circuitry, or some aspect of it, may be disconnected, broken, or dead.

- If the second, then the device's power adapter may be broken, or the terminals dirty or corroded, etc.

Does it have batteries? if so, try changing them.

Check the cord for the power adapter, carefully. Is it strained, cut, severely bent, anywhere?

If the cord for the power adapter has been coiled up tightly and uncoiled repeatedly, that can cause the fine wires inside to fray and break eventually. That would match what you've indicated about it having this problem a few times... which were probably cured by rearranging the power cord, I suspect.

Let me know what other advice I can offer for this problem.
