Electronics Repair Questions? Ask an Electronics Technician
Hello, and welcome! My name is ***** ***** it will be my pleasure to assist you today.
Hi again, Nick.
To fix this problem, store the safe in a cool, dry place. In addition, you can put a desiccant like 'DampRid' in the safe, in the back corner; this will absorb any excess moisture and you need to remember to check on it and spill out the collected water and replace or refill the DampRid container, every once in a while. See how it goes the first time, so you know how long it takes to fill up with water. It might take a long time, since it's in a safe. Here are examples of the different types available:
You might also wipe out the safe with a paper towel sprayed with a little Febreze, then leave it open to air out for a little while. You can buy the odorless Febreze.
I hope this helps!
