I have a Sony NSG-MR1 remote. The left half of the alphabet keyboard is locked, right half is unlocked. How do I unlock the left?
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: Not sure- have not used the alpha keyboard in a while. New Internet WiFI password ***** trying to enter, will not let me enter the left half letters
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: tried to find on line manual, cant. I'm sure there is a function key or something similar. Makes no sense otherwise
JA: The electronics expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?

Hi, on this one, you can only lock the entire keyboard not halfs ;-(

If half isn't working you will need have that serviced or replaced.

I wish I have better news for you but then this happens on this remote, there is a failed electronic component inside, not user replaceable due its surface mount size and parts availability.
