So when you try to take a picture does the camera seem to be taking it correctly?

If so then it might be the camera is set to internal memory rather than the card...

You need to set the "Media" to card... I am downloading a copy myself and will direct you to the required page

If a new card you will have to format the card (page 23)

And make sure it is compatible (Page 183)\
