Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is***** will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

Does the green power light stay on? if you wait a while, it may flash and turn Off again, perhaps.

Does the red standby light turn On at all?

How old is your projector?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
When turned on the Power light is green not red and stays on and nothing happens.
This model is 10 years old. Ask how to do a reset.
Expert:  Russell H. replied 6 months ago.

A reset may not apply to this, but a reset can be done by pulling the plug on it and allowing it to cool off, unpowered, for a half hour or longer.

The power light staying green, may mean either a short or an overload has been detected.

Try reseating the lamp bulb in its socket. Also, note whether a cooling fan inside the projector turns On at all, or not. If it doesn't, there might even be a fan failure.

(I am presuming that the lamp bulb never lights up. Correct me on this if it actually does.)

I was after a Panasonic technician who would be able to tell me how to reset the unit. I dont want to dismantle the unit and remove the battery. Thanks for your suggestions but as a tech I have been asked to look at the unit.
Expert:  Russell H. replied 6 months ago.

Oh. I didn't ask you to remove the battery.

Do you mean a Lamp Runtime reset?

That is the only reset Panasonic projectors do, as far as I know and can find out.

Sorry wasting my time & yours Bye

Not altogether I don't think. Try and consider what I suggested, it might help.
