When. I scroll where to on the main page I am sent to an "Enter Search" page in a new format from the normal with their entries (go home, address, shopping , etc.) but when I try to enter address or a restaurant I get a "could not be found". Any thoughts on a solution?

What do you see when you tap Settings, Map?

Is there a CN NA map listed? Is it selected? If not tap the empty box next to it so there is a check mark in the box. Now try the address search again.

CN NA means City Navigator North America. When you tap Settings - Map & Vehicle you should see the following items listed (you may need to scroll down the page to see the last few):

Vehicle
Driving Map View
Map Detail
Map Theme
Map Tools
Map Layers
myMaps
- you may also see an entry called Auto Zoom

Tap the myMaps entry and you should see:

CN North America NT
201x.xx ALL (where x.xx is the year and version number of the maps installed on your Nuvi. For example 2014.40 for 2014 maps version 40). If you are not seeing this entry then your problem is that the Nuvi you have has no maps installed in which to find the search entries you are entering OR if you can see this entry you MUST tap the box to the left of it in order to place a check mark in the box. This will make the maps available to the Nuvi in order to complete the searches you are entering.
