Still, is the Pioneer completely / electrically dead?

Pioneer VZX-45 elite it seems to be completely dead yes. It worked last night but this morning when I went to turn it on nothing happened. I changed the remote batteries, switched the electric plug and tried the main power button and still nothing.

Might it perhaps be a Pioneer VSX-45?

And as the described symptom almost always is an internal hardware issue, are you then considering a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair approach? If yes, do you have access to and familiar with a multi-meter and even a soldering iron?
