Customer Question

had to totally restart my kindle becausethe battery was running down even when I left it in aeroplane mode.
Now I have lost access to all books I had previously stored on my kindle, and cant access the library to restore them.
The problem started about 2 weeks ago when a kindle upgrade was sent down and loaded .
it was NOT because I had accidentally turned aeroplane mode off.
This device was purchased for Dick Smith Australia in June 2015 and is therefore still under warranty
The device is a Kindle Paperwhite with 3G

I'm sorry about the issue. Do you mean it does not let you turn Airplane Mode to Off now, and it does not let you connect to your Wi-Fi / wireless network name now, if any?

  1. From Home, tap the Menu icon (3-bar / 3-dot). (Does it have the 3-bar icon or 3-dot icon at the top?)
  2. , and then tap Settings.
  3. From Settings, tap the Menu icon again, and then tap Device Info.
  4. Then let me know the Version and Serial Number there.

Please reply at the box below. Thank you.
