Customer Question

My Casio (PX730) has been very good for 7 years. Lately, a few keys started 'pinging' when pressed. It is quite startling, and disheartening. Could please help in any way?? Thanks.

Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

If it were an acoustic piano, it would need to be serviced for hammer shaping... as it is, no hammers, so the problem is in the keyswitches or the key mechanisms perhaps.

Repair to those mechanisms and/or switches will be needed. Do you have expertise and wish to do it yourself, or would you rather hire repair for it?
