I have a Simrad NSS 12 chart plotter with 3G radar. I would like to set an anchor watch, but am not sure how to do this.

To set up the anchor watch, first save your waypoint location, then set an acceptable movement distance from your waypoint.

If the boat drifts too far away from your waypoint, then the alarm will trigger.

Pete, thanks for your time, but your answer is far too generic. Of course you enter the co-ordinates, etc, etc. My question is HOW do you do it? Is it through the radar or the chartplotter? The manuals seem to suggest the radar (which is connected to the chart plotter screen). The question is probably too specific because you would have to know the specific Simrad NSS plotter and the Simrad 4G radar setup. Thanks, John
