How do i change a valve regulated lead-acid battery(LC-R061R3P)?

When you say 'change' the battery, do you mean you need a guide as to what to replace it with?

Or do you need the safest and best procedure for removing it?

I suppose both. Initially I needed to know how to get the battery out of the unit.

Make sure the car is turned Off and the key removed, to be quite sure.

You detach the Ground line first, the black cable, rather than the red. There are obscure reasons for doing this involving safety.

Then unclamp the hold-downs on the battery.

Then detach the red cable or Positive wire, and lift the battery out, keeping it upright of course, and put it aside.

Then put in the replacement. What vehicle is this battery in? I am giving instructions for the main battery of a vehicle, but might need to give different instructions in other cases.
