Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

Try pressing the Clerk buttons, one after another, and see if the error clears.

Then try a reset (if you're willing to risk erasure of information in the register):

Turn key to Off.

Hold down the Receipt Feed (not Journal Feed) key, and turn the key to

Program.

Wait 5 seconds, then release the Receipt Feed key.

Does FFFFFFFFF (or the like) display?

Then press SUB-TOTAL, and turn the key to REG.

Hi there I did what you suggested and the ffffff's showed up on the screen and when I turn the register back on now none of the buttons will work only the two feed buttons.

That's a defective result to say the least. Remember that a full reset erases all programming in the register, and so programming of the register keys will now have to be done over.

(Unless this was such a defective result, that the register is now 'broken' in another, different, manner.)

Is there any E03 or other Error code displaying, since the reset?
