Hi Akija and welcome to JustAnswer,Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...Initially, bear with us; re-confirm and post back with the complete model number of the Pioneer.
And have you tried a RESET of the Pioneer.
Is this a first time/fresh install? ...or the combination of Pioneer + Bose Acoustimass 10 Series II been working together before and this 'no sub sound' just a recent issue?
Appreciate the additional information and for allowing me time to check the "...Pioneer vsx-1017TXVK..." specifications.
Sorry but my participation is strictly limited to technical concerns.
All others including site offers would have to be coursed through Customer Support.
Consider a RESET. A reset is both a test and a try of a fix. As it implies, a reset would force the unit to revert back to factory defaults removing glitches and config errors but would include memories, presets and user preferences. After a reset, the initial setup would have to be performed. If have not been done and should you venture to try: please click HERE.
May have to be done a number of times.
This is very critical - a reset however would not be corrective of a hardware concern; but it would be confirmed. In some instances, it may even expose other issues.
Please post back results / observations of the above once tried.
Have you tried the RESET?
Yes please. And again ensure that the speakers are set to LARGE (SUB OFF)
Post back how things turned up and/or should additional information be needed.
Can you please try increasing the BASS using the TONE button + MULTI JOG dial?
If the Pioneer is in 'AUTO SURR' mode, then the TONE controls are bypassed. Have you tried THX, STANDARD, ADV. SURR others?
Can you also please try MIDNIGHT/LOUDNESS to select LOUDNESS?
...and the LOUDNESS control was engaged too?
Sorry, power went out. Sluggish Internet on mobile.
How about MIDNIGHT?
Have you tried to press RECEIVER, then MIDNIGHT/LOUDNESS to select LOUDNESS ?
Perhaps another member would have an alternate approach to your concern as it would appear that the Acoustimass' performance is not to your expectation.
Good luck as the question would be re-opened. I would rather opt out.
As posted above; "...All others...would have to be coursed through Customer Support..." including refunds.
