Customer Question

I have a 2013 Panasonic PTA-e3000u Front Projector. It automatically adjusts the lens to change the image aspect ratio. Here is my question: How do I lock the lens to prevent automatic adjustment? In other words, I do NOT want the lens to change. The owner's manual does not address this specific issue. Thanks!

Hi Mark,

If you turn Auto Search off, the lens will not adjust automatically - see page 43 of the manual.

Pete, thanks for your suggestion , I turned off Auto Search...however it does not work. Auto Search applies to the Video Input selector, not the Lens. When I change channels on the cable box or change to a video game the Lens shifts and the projected image is too big. I must use the Projector Remote to select the correct image size. Merry Christmas!
