Electronics Repair Questions? Ask an Electronics Technician
Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
Sorry to hear of the issue you are having with your device.
To help you with this issue, may I ask:1) WHEN was the device last used successfully?2) The AGE of the device?3) WHEN this issue first began?
Sorry for any delayed response - I got disconnected for a bit.
OK - the FIRST thing I would try to do is "re-calibrate" the touch screen. Hopefully that will take care of the back button issue, and then we can continue with the rest of the issue(s).
Here is a link to a video that shows how to do that.

The idea is to do the "press the dot" game, and ACCURATELY touch the very center of each dot - as they appear. You will note that the person doing this is using a pencil eraser, but a plastic stylus works well too.
Also, try to TEST ALL the buttons - similar to what is shown in the video.
Please let me know if that restores function to the BACK button, and then we can move on.
Thanks, ***** *****
I see it has been a few days and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved.
I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.
