Hello and sorry you're having problems. No power at all to the unit is actually an easier fix in many cases than power but no sound. Common culprits are the AC mains fuse inside the receiver (located a few inches within the power cord connection to the PCB), a shorted diode bridge, or failed power supply filter caps. Expect the average cost for this repair to be in the $125-$150 range unless the main transformer has blown (then you're looking at closer to $200-$225 parts and labor).
