Hi there,

The default password ***** *****

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hello pete, that code did not get me in to my key card machine
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Are you getting an error message?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It is telling me that it is an invalid code
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Ok, then the default password ***** been changed or removed.

Did you set up the system, or did someone else do it for you?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Someone else, it was set up previously. My master password ***** up until last week. I have had the system for 3 years
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Did anything happen last week, e.g. a sudden power loss?

Was anyone else working on the system?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No, I am the only manager that has access. My desk clerks can access it just fine to make room keys. Just my password ***** work to make matter keys or run reports
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No power surge at all
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Did you use the default 3000 code previously, or was a different code in use?

Are the buttons working correctly to enter the 4 digits?

Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Where are you located?

Is there a Vingcard rep or dealer near you?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have tried all starts codes like 1111 and ascending and descending digit codes. Machine is calibrated, so numbers are working fine
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There is no Ving card dealer, not sure of a rep. I took this option of answers. Com because it was less expensive than Ving card
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

If the system is not accepting any code, even the default 3000 code, and resetting the system did not work, then it has a fault and will require servicing.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The system is accepting the code to make guest roomkeys
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Is there any other default code that I could try?
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

3000 is the only default code for this system.

What function is it not accepting the code for?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
When you log onto the machine the front desk code can make and delete keys only. The manager code which is no longer working can make manager keys, add data, and add and delete codes, etc
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Since the reset did not work, there is nothing else you can do.

You will need to contact the vendor of that system for further support.
Hopefully your company has a service contract with them.

Pete.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I am were still unable to access the machine. Which in return will result in me paying a fee to VingCard. Although you tried your best, ***** ***** answer my question. In return your answer did not fix my problem. So I would like to request a refund of my payment, please.
