I bought a nuvi 3597LM about 6 weeks ago and its working fine other than I seem to have lost the usb cable for up dates ( I was house moving and its been misplaced or lost).
So the tech at BEST BUY told me those cables are custom for each unit and it can't be replaced. Is this true? or do yuou have any suggestions? Bob

Hello, my name is Rusty. Each cable isn't different for each model, I disagree with the Best Buy guy. It is illegal to manufacture a new cable for each new model. However, there are groups of models, this cable does both power and updates, click here.
