Customer Question

We have an intercom AIPHONE JF-2MED and photos are now blurry.
The distance from gate on property is 300 meters to house intercom.
Another AIPHONE unit is in the master bedroom.
This system was installed in 2012 and used to work very well.
In cooler weather condition and early mornings we have good photo reception.....during the day crazed-fuzzy photos appear on both house intercom screens.

Hi there,

What sort of climate are you located in?

There may be some condensation inside the lens.

Please attach some photos of the distortion so I may review.

Hi Pete,
Thank you for your email.
I live in Queensland Australia.......no condensation I can see...luring the day there are just lines on the screen.
Late afternoon and early morning there is a picture that I would be fine with....maybe I need newer cable as the cable is over 15 years old?
I'll attach some photos now taken at 10am in the morning.
Regards,
Roger

It is unlikely to be a cable problem if it works ok at certain times.

Could you try adjusting the camera slightly, or move it away from direct sunlight and let me know if it has an improved picture all day long?
