I'm trying to find a Matsushita model JU-253A16M internal

Customer Question

I'm trying to find a Matsushita model JU-253A16M internal floppy disk drive or a compatible replacement. It uses MF2DD (double sided, double density, double track 3.5" floppy discs).
Can you tell me if that means 1.44 meg drive, in case I can't find a direct replacement?

Hello , my name is Jack
Perhaps I can help you with this problem.

Yes that is a standard IDE floppy drive which means any internal floppy drive will do as far as the electrical connections are concerned , only the external look may change slightly .

These drives are getting hard to find but here is one on ebay that would do ;

If you have an old computer circa 90`s early 2000`s then you may have that as well
