Customer Question

Have an old Mead 826 (circa 1985). great optics. Clock drive motor seems to be shot. Bristol Saybrook Company model (hard to read) 447-(9 or B?)16x-1. 1/10 rpm. Any hope of finding one of these? Thanks.

Hi sounds like the motor is shot.

The best place to try for that would be the sites below.

They may have a replacement even it it isn't the exact some one but a sub for that motor, if they don't have any of those left.

Please visit: http://www.company7.com/meade/history.html

and

I you still have trouble we could go directly to the motor manufacturer as a source for this.

In any case we should be able to get this for you, I will stick with you until this is complete.

Please rate kindly thus far, it won't cost you anything to rate my service to you kindly,

Then you can reach me by simply replying to this message anytime.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!
