Customer Question

Hi, I'm Lance Harper [email protected] California Public Radio
Working on a JBL PWB 140295-6 Amp board for a JBL 515 powered speaker.
Thermistor, (RT601) checks fine, but gets hot and stays hot, FETs not shorted, D601 bridge rectifier fine. Still will not turn on.
Any way I could get a copy of the Troubleshooting and schematic guide?

Hi and welcome to JustAnswer,
Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...
Initially, RT601 is getting hot as relay K601 is not kicking on. It would appear to be a power supply issue if none of the outputs has failed.
Will upload the Troubleshooting Guide and schematic diagrams upon your reply.

Thanks for your assistance. I was hopping it was just one of the output FET's had shorted out, cheap and ez :-) I look forward to the guide and schematic.
