Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question. 'Emergency Calls Only' means something is wrong with the phone's ability to transmit or receive in the normal fashion any normal call. Also, your phone might have been reported lost or stolen, and its communication in all normal ways may have been blocked by the service provider of your phone's network/communication service. Also, there might possibly be something wrong with your phone, period - a hardware fault that needs fixing. And, you could perhaps just be in the wrong locale or location, where there is 'no signal'. Look on the phone, in its communication-related icons and facilities, for anything unusual, anything wrong. E.g., how many 'bars' of signal strength show? or, How is the network access of your phone set up? or, if you scan with your phone for service providers, do you find any? If you're in a remote location, you may simply be getting no signal. If your phone is an Android phone, go toSettingsWireless and Networks(and perhaps 'More Networks' in some versions)Mobile NetworksNetwork OperatorsSearch Networks. (If any one of the above is unavailable or greyed-out, note which one, and let me know, please.) If the above advice does not help, I will need to know more specifics about the problem - e.g. what phone by type, maker and model, and so forth - in order to offer more specific advice. Please let me know. Thanks.
