Have Sansui AU505 amplifier. one output channel make "buzzing" noise.

Hello and sorry you're having problems. Offhand, can you please tell me if there is an audio signal in the offending output channel? Or is the buzz the only signal present in this channel? Also does the buzz sound raise and lower with the volume control?

There is still audio and the buzz does raise and lower

Thank you for the reply. This is either caused by an out of spec filter cap (least likely as it would also be in the other channel), or the output transistor is failed. Are you looking to do this work yourself, or looking for a repair estimate and service locator?
