HOW TO ADJUST ANTI-SKATE ON GE T361 VINTAGE TURNTABLE WITH NEW NEEDLE

Hello there and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today. I am an engineer with over 30 years of electrical and electronic training, repair and installation experience. I will try and answer your question accurately and precisely so that we can get you on your way. I wasn't aware that the 361 had anti skating adjustments. Is it skipping across the LP?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
YES..
THERE ARE 2 ADJUSTING SCREWS ON THE REAR OF THE TONE ARM. MY GUESS THEY ARE FOR ANTI-SKATE??
Expert:  Steve G. replied 1 year ago.
I don't believe that is the case. The recommended tracking force is 6 grams on that turntable. Anti skating would be irrelevant with that much downforce. I'll double check for you.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I PUT A COIN ON THE TONE ARM BUT IT STILL SLED ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE LP!
Expert:  Steve G. replied 1 year ago.
Ok, let me check.

No I don't have much on this one. I am going to opt out of this question which will allow other vinyl experts to chime in. Hold on.
