dont know the history. in great shape as far as looks inside and out. full volume no sound at all. just got it last week. knew it had no sound when i picked it up but got it for 50 bucks so figured if i couldnt fix it no big loss. it looks great. no sound from the pedals either.
Thanks for the reply. Please disconnect the organ from power, then when you plug it back in listen carefully for a soft thump from the speakers. Let me know what you hear.
no sound at all, just the leslie and lights go on.
Okay with no sound at all you're looking at either faulty output IC's or at the very least one or more shorted filter caps in the power supply circuit preventing the amplifier from powering up. I'm not sure what you're experience measuring voltages or testing circuits is, but if you're not able to test and solder on a component level then you're looking at between $150-$200 parts and labor for this type of repair. Let me know if you do have electronic repair experience and we can proceed.
only basic electric skills and there are no repair places near here. what you think?
hello again. what and where are the filter caps?
i have a picture but not sure how to post to this site.

Aric, 4 of the fuses were blown so ordered replacements will get here in 3 days. problem is why are they blown? should i try the organ after replacing them to see if it happens again? i purchased extras just in case.
aric, i have replaced all the fuses and now i have a loud buzz from the main large speaker. thats the only difference since replacing the fuses. when i disconnect the large speaker its silent as before.
when i check them do they need to be cut from the board.?
