This is for my church sound. We have an audio technica atw-2110 transmitter system and atw-2120 handheld mic. Last Sunday, when we turned on the receiver and it lit up but was blank and didn't work. This Sunday the same thing occurred. I tried to change the channel and I could not as nothing was on the display. I changed batteries in the mic and unplugged the receiver and went online to research and I'm still at a loss. Please help.

Hello, I know Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest, I never get that opportunity lol.Especially if its for God.The problem can be two fold, either the mike isnt working or the main amp is the problem. Please explain to me exactly what happened prior to this event.Example: and storms, what else do you have hooked up to the system, and if there were any intermittent problems before this happened. Also one last question, how old is your unit.Thank you, XXXXX XXXXX be here today to help you.Tech Michael. Please have patience as these are technical issues but I will get this for you, I always do. I have over 30 years of experience in this field.Tech Michael
We have many components in our system including another receiver for a lapel mic that is working fine. The other components include an equalizer, a couple of amps, a hearing impaired system, two cd players, a cassette player and a cd recorder. And a mixer of course. We have two good storms in the area but this receiver and mic have been working since these storms. There have not been any problems before these last two Sundays. The system is approximately 3 years old.
Thank you Michele for the very well thought out explanation. Before you do anything check the battery connections in the mike. Also make sure the wires are connected still.I would do a complete reset of everything Here's how to do that.Unplug everything from power. Then wait 10 minutes, plug it all back in, Let me know if you get audio sound from other devices? If you can , then the problem is the mike. But let me know.Sorry for the delay, but we had some storms here as well:-) Knocked out our internet.Michael
The rest of the components in the sound system are working fine. I used them as I normally would for church this morning. I tried the handheld mike with the receiver for the lapel mike after church. After adjusting the channels and the lapel receiver, I discovered the mike was working. I did unpLug the non-working receiver for about 15 minutes and plugged it in - no change. Is there a fuse in the receiver that might have blown?
Thanks Michelle,Unfortunately there is no fuse in that one. But, you need to make sure that there is clean contacts for the batteries. Also Make sure the batteries are putting out the correct voltage. Please note, pressing the ACCEPT Rating button does NOT close your question. It actually keeps me in the loop with you, and allows me to continue dialogue with you and allows me to set up a follow up appointment with you. At no additional cost!I will still be here for you until the job is complete and you are satisfied!Thank YouTech MichaelI will be here for you in any case.
You were courteous and respectful and your responses were timely. However, I did not find your answers or suggestions overly new or insightful. I felt like I had tried or thought of those things before. I don't feel $68 was the right choice for me to spend on behalf of my church. Actually I have not been provided with a receipt so at this point I cannot turn it in for reimbursement so I have spent it myself.
Hi Michele, I am only a tech and have no access to the companies info.I can provide you a receipt if you need one.All I do is try by best and I am a Christian as well.I wont leave you in a crisis. I want to help you solve this as well. And I Will. But if you rate me at least acceptable. your question wont close, or time out and we can continue to work together until this mic(mike) is working as it should be, whatever the problem is.Thank you so much for understanding how this system works, even though they have made some changes. Enjoy your day:-)tech Michael
