new tv. how do I get remote to find it and do I have to do anything besides set it to channel 3?

Ok, no problem. If you used the screw in coax, you can leave the TV tuned to channel 3. If you used another type of cable, you will have to press the input button repeatedly to switch through the inputs, until the correct one is selected. Let me know if you need help with that.Now, to program your remote:1. Turn on your TV.NOTE: Please read steps 2 to 6 completelybefore proceeding. 2. On the remote control, press TVat the top of the remote.3. Press and hold Setup until theTV button blinks twice, then release Setup.4. Enter 0056. If you perform thisprocedure correctly, the selectedmode key will blink twice.NOTE: If you enter an invalid code, theselected mode key will display one longblink and exit the programming mode.5. Aim the remote control at yourdevice and press Power once.TheTV should turn off. If it doesnot respond, let me know and I will tell you how to search.
