Customer Question

Hi
I have a DMR - EX75 DVD player (about 5 yrs old).
Everytime i press a button on the remote controller to do something nothing happens & i get a message on the DVD player that displays "DVD 1".
I think that the hard drive might be full & may be causing problems?
I have limited ability to do things by pressing buttons on the DVD player itself but can't use the direct navigator or change channels etc. using the remote.
Any ideas what might be causing the problem?
Thanks

Hi and welcome to JustAnswer,

Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...

Initially, it would appear that the remote control and the DMR-EX75 are not in sync.

Offhand, try:

  • • press and hold the OK/ENTER button;
  • • while still pressing on the OK/ENTER button, similarly press and hold the 1 button;
  • • maintain press/hopld of both buttons for 3 seconds.

Please post back should the above be an acceptable approach and/or should additional information be needed.

Great! Glad that the issue ahs been resolved, congratulations.

The DVD 1 is actually a message indicating that the units are not in sync hence the above proposed solution.

Good luck and thank you for asking JustAnswer.
