I was just give a clavinova clp-930. Everything works well except that several keys stick. I'm a pretty good do-it-yourselfer. Is it possible to buy a replacement keyboard assembly?
Optional Information: Make: Yamaha Model: CLP=930 Already Tried: I have removed the top and I can see how it all comes apart, goes back together. I have also repeatedly depressed and lifted the stuck keys rapidly just in case there was dust in a bushing that need to work loose. They're really pretty sticky, though. I was considering lifting out the whole keyboard and lubricating the pivots, but with 7 keys stuck, I'm wondering if maybe I shouldn't just replace the keyboard assembly.
Watch the video here at the following link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8HzWe0p2Tg&noredirect=1It shows how to replace the keys, but in this case, you should remove your keys and try to clean them and then replace them to see if that helps with the issue.Let me know if you have further questions on this. Thanks!
