My virtual karaoke will play a song for just about 10 seconds

Resolved Question:

My virtual karaoke will play a song for just about 10 seconds and cuts off. The message appears ERROR 16 and sometimes ERROR 24. Please help. Noel Casares

I do not have a karaoke machine. I have a VIRTUALDJ program on my laptop. I have had it for about 6 months and have never had a problem before. Problem started about a week ago. Thanks XXXXX XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX (XXX) XXX-XXXX

Ok, now we're speaking the same language. I'm an ex Karaoke host.

Is you copy licensed? I've used Virtualdj, but not for Karaoke, and not for a long time. However I have seen some software only play the first part of the song if it's not licensed.

There are free versions of Sax & Dotty's, RoxBox, and a couple other programs floating around torrent sites. Both of those programs are made for karaoke. I didn't trust VirtualDJ, that's why I didn't use it very long. I paid my bills with Karaoke, so I wanted it to be stable.
