I have a model#HM3034.after I place the CDs in and close the

I have a model#HM3034.after I place the CDs in and close the tray it reopens and does not play. No matter what I have tried it still opens. What do I need to do?

Tried to hold the tray shut but it still opens and doesn't play the CD

  • Turn the unit off.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • ----- Wait 20 minutes. -----
  • Re-apply power.

  • If no change try different CDs, if they are not dirty, the lens is damaged and not worth repairing.
