Have you tried cleaning the burner by blowing it out with compressed air? or swabbing the laser lens directly with a qtip and rubbing alcohol?

There doesn't appear to be a local service center that could handle this.
Generally for smaller items like this, you'd send it in to JVC directly for factory service, rather than local repair (such as for a tv)
