The music is streaming very slow into my wireless motorokr s9-hd bluetooth. I'm playing music from Rhapsody using my phone a HTC window 7 phone. The calls come in but the music playing in slow motion. Also the long green flash is blinking while the music is streaming not a long flash. Can you help me?
Hi I am Richard and I would like to help you to resolve this problem you have with Bluetooth Streaming. As a starter could you let me know what you mean when you say the music is playing in slow motion? Is the actual music actual heard as playing slower...or do you mean that the streaming is slow and the music is continually muting?Once I am clear about this matter, I think I can help you with your problem. Many thanksRichard
The Music is actal heard is but continually Muting.
OK That is what I was hoping to hear...Your problem is not uncommon and is to do with the nature of the level of data being streamed using the A2D profile. Are you getting this problem constantly (drop outs occurring every time you play music) or does it have good performance on some occasion and bad performance on other occasions?are there places (at the office, Kitchen, public venues) when it gets very bad and other places when it is OK?Where is the phone normally kept when streaming (pocket....hand, table...etc).Bluetooth functionality uses the same frequency band as Wireless Lan (wifi) and microwave ovens. There is interference that occurs between these devices. Also Bluetooth signal is highly absorbed by water (and our body has plenty of water in our make up).If the phone is positioned on one side of the body (in a pocket) and the headset receiver is on the other side of the head....the signal will drop and mute will happen).I was involved in the development of Bluetooth technology with major companies and Bluetooth technology has to work in a very very difficult environment sometimes. As a test, please use the phone near the headset and make sure you are nowhere near WLAN routers and microwave ovens that are on....and see if the drop outs occur or are less frequent.I hope this will help sort out your problem...let me know how you get on and whether my advice has helped?Best regardsRichard
I just try moving the bluetooth closer to the phone and no luck. I just bought this wireless bluetooth. The Music play like if you were playing a record at the wrong speed very slow
Do you actually hear slow music? everything sounds lower and more bassy?
yes
Richard I think you sent me a reply but I don't see it
This really should not be happening and I suspect that there is a bad fault with the dsp circuits (known as a CODEC) and this is not necessarily the headset at fault. Are you able to try out another headset to see if the problem still occurs (in which case the phone is at fault) or if there is improvement then the new headset is at fault.Another question.....do you know the format of the music files you are using? your phone will stream WAV/MP3/ACC..etc ?RegardsRichard
Richard I'm streaming music from on line Rhapsody
the problem is therefore not related to the equipment but incompatibility between the streamed music from the web and the bluetooth profiles. Could you try to play stored music from your media player on the phone and see if the problem exists?
I don't have music store on my phone, But I do have utube and the video sound does not play to the bluetooth
Then I can confidently conclude that it is not the headset nor the handset at fault but is incompatibility between the streamed music and the CODEC's used to reformat the streamed signal for the Bluetooth A2DP path.I hope this answer gives you some reassurance that the products are fine but clearly you will not be able to get improvement on the Bluetooth path to your headset.best regardsRichard
